Edward M. Poretz

Edward M. Poretz was born and raised in Montgomery County, Maryland. He attended the Landon School and went on to receive his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia.  Thereafter, Mr. Poretz spent two years as a producer for sports radio in Washington, D.C., as well as performing stand-up comedy in Washington D.C. and Maryland.  Later on, he graduated from the University of Baltimore School of Law.  Mr. Poretz now resides in Baltimore City, where he was the former President of the Criminal Law Association.

Mr. Poretz is admitted to practice law in the State of Maryland and the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland.  His experience includes the legal fields of bankruptcy, foreclosure, collections, personal injury, and criminal defense.  Mr. Poretz brings an out-of-the-box perspective and a client-first approach as a negotiator and trial attorney.  His varied experience provides him with a confident, professional, and fearless attitude to every situation.
